The “Roads of Yesterday”, a short driving tour or visit Thallon in its heyday on the “Old Town” walking tour. The walking tour brings to life Bullarmon, the once-vast pastoral station on which Thallon now stands.
Established in 1911, the town was named after the former Railway Commissioner (JF Thallon). When Sir Major Thomas Mitchell passed through the area in 1846, the area was already occupied by cattle stations.
